Do I need to do anything different after I have my crowns?
You can eat and drink normally after porcelain crowns have been fitted, they should function just like a normal tooth. If you’ve been given anaesthetic you’ll need to avoid hot food and drink for at least 2-3 hours. If you are somebody that grinds their teeth at night the dentist will recommend a mouth guard to protect your teeth and prevent damage to porcelain crowns.
